Ida Harbin has "the scoop." Four reporters. Four behind-the-scenes stories. This talk explores the delicate relationships and reporting that shapes audio journalism, with stories that have appeared on Reveal, NPR, and On Air Fest.

Together we’ll travel from the Iraq War, to the Federal ICE raids in Minneapolis, to COVID-19 in New York City, and right into the fight for equity in women’s college basketball at the University of Oregon. Through these stories, I’ll highlight the human connections, trust, and on-the-ground reporting that make deeply reported audio storytelling possible.
